I find it interesting that there aren't any new registered song titles in the BMI website.....

So many people are here...so what is everybody hoping for on the cd? I would love a Meteora demo or two with complete lyrics, and of course Pictureboard (99.9% chance of that not happening)

I want Take Away My Pride, that Meteora demo with drums and piano from the DVD, Ammosick and Left Right from the ATS-era.

Actually, yeah.

Maybe because I'm more into electronic rock then Hard Rock or anything like those. I hope Living Things was just a one-time only thing. I don't want "Rock" LP. I want experimental "We don't care how does it sounds like, if we like it then it's us" LP. And there's still a lot of potential in electronic stuff.

If Mike keeps listening to this heavier stuff like his Spotify playlist suggests then it might mean we are shifting away from the electronic LP to more alternative rock LP again. And that's the best news ever.

but the Slip version we have is with Chester, so maybe Mark just wrote that but didn't record it. and Coal is instrumental. don't trust about what Mike said, but he's not far from the truth here (yet).

Chester sound very "Mark-ish" in Slip and in Esaúl. And different from the other demos from that era.

Yeah, Mike said a few years before that there aren't any Xero-era stuff except the tape, Esaúl and Pictrureboard. And then Coal came out of nowhere.......

And then Slip.

So I don't trust Mike and the band in these things anymore except Chester.

LP may play an old Xero/Hybrid Theory song for the Sunset Strip show. I can definitely see it happening, and they definitely should. I like to think maybe Carousel, since we haven't a live recording of it and Mike mentioned it in that LPU chat he did a week ago. It means he definitely has Carousel in his mind somewhat. Interesting.

As long as it had Pictureboard, Thoughts That Take Away My Pride, My December (Team Sleep Remix) and Patients, this would be the ultimate LPU CD, it wouldn't matter what the other tracks were. Although those are all demos I would want highly.

Except NRL, this list is the best so far. I don't want to hear Chester's version of NRL simply because Mike made that song good. Chester would've fucked up. That song and In Between with Chaz are the only two stuff I don't want to hear. Even if I'm a MTM fan and I would like to hear every MTM-era demo, just no.

I have said this 100 times over the years. Take Away My Pride demo is IN THAT EPISODE OF LPTV. Listen to the clip and listen to that instrumental in the background. They are identical. This IS the song.
