  1. nahh, i think i'm going to sign off for tonight. hell, I'll be up earlier than most to update the main post with the full set, so I'll see you all then. as before, keep an eye on Mark's twitter here for real-time set updates, but I'm off Mark's just said that LP'll be on at 9.30pm EST, and the LPL staff'll be finishing up at the MFR booth at 8.45 it's currently 7.50pm EST, so roughly an 1 hour 30 left until LP start have fun to all attending and all those watching from the internet haha see you in the morning for the damage report
  2. man, i don't think i can stay up for this. if mutemath is about to go, i think we've got about 2+ hours until LP
  3. it's currently about 7.15pm EST. so... Bristow time not sure when doors are, or when LP actually starts. but keep an eye on Mark's twitter (linked in the main post) he'll be keeping us up to date with the set so he'll let us know
  4. "contributer"! nice job :D

  5. LPL staff at the MFR booth - https://twitter.com/lplive/status/234412825844543488/photo/1 damn, I'm envious
  6. i'm not sure we're allowed to share the songs if you can find them on youtube...
  7. they did this on PR08 i think. it's a nice touch. I know a ton may complain with "money-making scheme" but something exclusive to one show is pretty cool for those who attend
  8. show posters at http://mikeshinoda.com/2012/08/11/linkinpa...n-tour-posters/
  9. no-one knows yet (except lucky LPUers) - hang tight!
  10. lost their peak since then. i think their music is so diverse now (and so many fans have become bored or riled by them) they're not what they once were. hopefully HCT'll smash that though.
  11. same with Mark's use of the word "filthy"
  12. haha true, I was just speculating. I do think it'll be in the set tonight. Mark'll let us know
  13. some vids may pop up in a few hours - it's only about 6am in America. but then again standing there with a camera for the whole set when the band's only got 30 people they're playing too, i dunno, i'd feel a bit uncomfortable filming instead of enjoying the experience. also, the fans were not present for alot of the set so you won't see the whole thing
  14. "magic pants" oh and chester's final OSC "talking to YOU" was pretty nuts. didn't know he could go that high
  15. LP's Instagram - Rehearsal tonight. First show tomorrow
  16. The (“Linkubus”) Honda Civic Tour ‘12 is go! Tonight, the Honda Civic Tour will finally get fully underway in Bristow, Virginia. This is the band’s 5th visit to Bristow and their 12th time in Virginia, having played Virginia Beach 4 times Fairfax 3 times and Richmond once back in 2001. The show will take place at the 25,000 capacity Jiffy Lube Live, which may seem like a new venue for LP, but was actually formerly known as Nissan Pavilion at Stone Ridge, which many of you may remember as the staple Bristow venue on various incarnations of Projekt Revolution (2004, 2007 and 2008), and indeed their first performance here on Ozzfest all the way back in 2001. This first date on the HCT will put an end to a 4 year absence from Bristow - At roughly 35 miles west of Washington DC, this region unfortunately missed out on the A Thousand Suns US cycle in 2011 due to Chester getting sick early on in the tour. Whilst other cancelled dates in Texas were made-up at the end of the schedule, the Northern fans in Virginia, Ohio and Connecticut (two other cancelled dates from ATS now part of HCT) are only just making up for lost time! Last night's production rehearsal at the venue previewed some exciting tastes of what we can expect from HCT (see the newsire post here) BURN IT DOWN will be an obvious inclusion, LIES GREED MISERY wasn't rehearsed, but if it's being dropped it's pretty likely it's being replaced by some other LIVING THINGS tracks. LOST IN THE ECHO and IN MY REMAINS were rehearsed, along with a VICTIMISED/QWERTY mash-up. HCT is looking sweet already! Check out LPxDC's video from his site RichardThinks.Org, they caught a video of the new VICTIMIZED/QWERTY mashup! There will be a healthy amount of LPL satff present in Bristow tonight - Mark (Hahninator), Jonas (AndOne) and Rich (LPxDC) will be hanging out at the MFR booth, so come and say hi! Mark will also be tweeting the setlists as they happen from Bristow up to Alpharetta on the 19th (the first 6 dates), so go follow him at twitter.com/hahninator if you want to stay bang up to date. For more on the HCT tour schedule, and all the up-coming dates for 2012, keep an eye on the year page here some "full" live debuts coming your way, so... who's excited? SETLIST C: (updating live from twitter) -New show intro- 01. With You 02. Faint 03. Given Up 04. VICTIMIZED (w/ QWERTY bridge) + Papercut + Lying From You mashup (No 2nd verse or 2nd chorus on LFY/Papercut) 05. Somewhere I Belong 06. New Divide 07. IN MY REMAINS 08. Empty Spaces 09. When They Come For Me 10. Waiting For The End (w/ Until It Breaks intro) 11. Breaking The Habit 12. LOATR/SOTD/Iridescent Medley 13. The Catalyst 14. BURN IT DOWN (w/Pyrotechnics) 15. In The End 16. Numb (Numb/Encore lyrics over ending by Mike) 17. Bleed It Out (1st verse re-started) (w/ Sabotage bridge) (w/Pyrotechnics after Sabotage) ------------------------------------ 18. (New Intro) LOST IN THE ECHO 19. What I've Done 20. One Step Closer (w/Pyrotechnics) Few new things! VICTIMIZED (w/ QWERTY bridge) had LFY and Papercut (both with no 2nd verse or 2nd chorus) after it and was listed on the setlist as a mashup. Flames on BID, BIO and OSC! LOST IN THE ECHO had a new intro. Also a new guitar for Mike on it. Mike sang some of the Numb/Encore lyrics at the end of Numb. Bleed It Out had the first verse restarted, Mike let the fans sing and they didn't sing it loud enough so he restarted it. Crawling was on the setlist after What I've Done but was dropped due to the curfew.
  17. i was worried that we wouldn't hear victimised since it's a bit short and probably won't be a single. but this looks hopeful - and in a damned cool mash-up... did anyone get any videos mark?
  18. my money's on live DVD
  19. I was never fussed about these "live around the world" things. my assumption is that WMG/LP gave Spotify a few DSPs and let them just randomly pick songs, and if there were gaps orbad performances, there were, well... left there. the whole thing seemed pretty quickly lazily assembled, and I'm genuinely not bothered that I've lost the files in my HD crash.
  20. I must admit that my first two weren't really memes...
  21. what a line-up! if these are true then... damn! and yeah, Weinhofen'll be busy that week
  22. have you heard of Hybrid Theory? it's this album by a band you might like
  23. lemme me guess where you live. my vote goes to... hmmm Japan...?
  24. did you know that the "ridiculously photogenic metalhead" was a fan at an LP concert...? you do now oh and Mark may disagree on this one -
  25. I genuinely don't care that much about what's in the set so long as we get to hear a good amount of LT songs. to repeat AndOne's Question - is anyone going? if no-one from LPL is I'm sure we'll find out the set from another fan-site
