This article contradicts itself with the "Linkin Park returning to their roots" and then it goes to Mike talking about how it's going to be completely different than anything they have done before. It's not really returning to their roots if they are making a whole new approach with themselves and the music. If the music is good though, that's all that matters to me.

Just done my (small ) donation ... the new song is amazingly "new" ... but I still can't get too excited because it's like being hypocrit to me ... thousands of people died and many thousands are suffering so ... I'd like to stay calm and focused on the Relief.

Anyway ... the song is magic

I guess that the band had some releasing problem or some disturing fact about this song and its sample and they can't talk about it (maybe because of warner being related to the fact itself) for legal matters.

Earlier today, Mike Shinoda posted on his blog about the newfound 1999 demo, "She Couldn't". This is what he had to say:

 

"Many of you have asked about an old demo that is floating around. The song is called “She Couldn’t.” We recorded it in 1999 during the making of Hybrid Theory, but it never made an album and was never released by us. For legal reasons, that's all I can say about the song, but I hope this clears things up!"

 

What do you think? Perhaps Warner has gagged them from talking about unreleased songs?

I think it just has to do with the sampling of another song.

in Italy the DVD came out yesterday and I bought it today ... nice CD ( why in the hell they removed wake from the CD !!!?!?!?!?!?!? ) and amazing DVD. Well done LP

PS. I confirm that after the end of the credits a new menu gets unlocked with the 3 extra videos of SIB papercut and POA. Good choice in my opinion.
