Pardon my mistake regarding the city, I said "St Paul" instead of St Louis. lol. I saw on your profile that you have attended several shows. ¿You has memories or pictures those shows? It will be very exciting Yeah I got many more memories and some other pics of other shows and with the guys etc... This is the only recording though! I had to sweet talk my buddy to borrow the MD for this one show. I can confirm some setlists here that are still blank. I'm going through and making notes. And np, I knew you meant STL 34 minutes ago, vinifeijo said: That's so... human. Amazing. The Street Team era must've been incredible. Yes, being a teenaged street teamer '99-'02 was amazing. You had a lot of the perks the internet gave, but the music industry hadn't collapsed yet. There was plenty of budget for stuff like that. Extra project managers, other actual workers at the labels that would make everything happen for the teamers, and plenty of swag to give to all your friends and out at shows you goto anyway. You and Brad (the guy who did the "Roadie for a day" in Pittsburgh on February 15th) are the luckiest fans I've seen so far.

Ahfack
Loving all the comments! So happy to see all you guys excited. I got great news! NINLive finished an amazing 100% all digital, lossless transfer of the MD late yesterday, and I now have that raw WAV file. Now that this part is done, I'll be spending my free time going through it. The runtime is 51:51 I remember the bass at this show was insanely loud. When Rob hit his drum trigger, it shook any part of my shirt that was hanging off me (like end of shirt sleeves or part by my stomach). Because of this and the gear I used, I'll be working on pulling some low end out as long as it doesn't affect the recording negatively. I plan on doing loudness normalization in between songs and during big crowd screams, as I don't want those to take away from the listening experience. Again, I want to accomplish all of this without taking anything away from the original recording, so it'll just take time. Once I've got it how I like, I'll listen to it on my monitors and my headphones a few times. Once I'm happy, you guys will be the first to know

Ahfack
I'm thinking Chester's birthday 3/20 would be a realistic and great date to put this out there. Added a countdown on the main post. Going to shoot for releasing this on Chester's bday at 9am CST (STL time)

That's awesome! You guys are very welcome. I'm pumped too. What would've been perfect is if I could've released this on 2/10 exactly 22yr to the day, but I didn't even know where the MD was then lol

felipeintheend
I like the way you decided to release it... Picking an excellent date, etc. It's really great when something like this comes from a true LP fan! I have met so many tapers over the years, I couldn't even count how many filmers, tapers and shows I have found so far and 80% of them are from people who don’t necessary like the band... Also maybe that's the reason there are a lot of recordings out there that have never been circulating, they just don't give a sh*t about it, etc. (So thanks again for releasing this gem) Of course we also have rare cases where the tapes just get lost over time. Like Smokeout 2003 proshot as an example... I still can't believe the company lost it. Trust me when I'm saying more than 20 LP concerts would have been released if the tape didn't get lost. Warner is another big example of losing tapes LOL. Edited March 10 by felipeintheend

I'm basically going from not knowing where it was at all to, having a friend rip it in another state, ship back and forth, eq/mix, and releasing it to everyone all under 30 days. Loving doing it though! Making good progress on this I think I can finish it this weekend/early next week, and then I'll listen to it a bunch. Should have it all ready! Ahfack
Hey everyone! I got great news, everything is DONE and ready to go for Chester's birthday. I know there's still a few days to wait, so I have a bonus treat for you! Like I said, I was very lucky and got to hang out with them a lot during this 2yr~ period. I also recorded a bit of audio from this night after the show, backstage with them in their dressing room. I wasn't sure if I wanted to share any of this, but I went ahead and threw together a couple minutes that I thought was really funny, and I think the guys would agree . Chester and Mike are both being hilarious and were having a great time celebrating Mike's birthday. -Someone stole Mike's Outkast CD and he really misses it! -Chester doesn't want you to set Linkin Park fans on fire, THANK YOU VERY MUCH! -Mike tells us how he was really in the moment singing In The End that night, and then a sudden distraction from the audience killed the moment. -Dave had a different distraction of his own... ENJOY AND SEE YOU MONDAY
felipeintheend
Thats crazy! None in the room would ever imagine LP would become so BIG not too long after that. I am sure anyone here who had a moment with the band in 2000/2001 experienced something really special. They were always good people during M&Gs, even in 2017, etc. But bringing fans to their backstage room and having fun, thats really something that could have happened only in 2000/01. Just now found the signed poster from that night. Was literally in a box of old posters I labeled "SHIT ON THE WALL - FRAGILE" lol Here's a close-up of the round green cloth aftershow pass that let me hang out after the show. The Mississippi Nights pass to the left of it is from my first ever LP show, also in STL when they were on the Riding High tour opening for KMK in 2000. I had an identical one for the kings of the game tour a month later also at Mississippi Nights which was my last LP concert in 2000. That one got soaked and it's just paper with a sticky backing so it falls apart. Was lucky to keep this one to be honest haha.
MikeDaniel
19 hours ago, Ahfack said: Aqui está um close-up do passe pós-show de pano verde redondo que me deixou sair depois do show. Thank you very much for the release. For us "Soldiers" it is a great gift. Thanks and a big hug.

Super pumped! 3 days left yeeeeeea I think this is the very last sticker I saved from pre-hybrid theory release. Haven't seen this specific sticker posted anywhere (back is different than official LP street team, says streetwise in top right). Still looking for a tape bc I think they said streetwise on the back too
