hahninator Posted March 26, 2018 Here you go, Los Angeles! Mike has announced that he will be performing on May 12, 2018 at the IdentityLA 2018 Concert & Celebration as the headliner of the event. The show will be held at Grand Park, which is the location of the Chester Bennington memorial in 2017 that was for over 2,000 Linkin Park fans in Los Angeles. IdentityLA is a free festival celebrating Asian American and Pacific Islander heritage. More information here. This is a significant announcement because this moves the timeline of shows up by three months, to May. That means if he hasn't already started, Mike will soon be beginning to look at tracks to perform live from his (large) arsenal of solo songs, Fort Minor, and possibly Linkin Park. While Summer Sonic takes place in August, this could mean several things. First of all, Mike is ready to perform live as soon as the middle of May so we are likely to see shows announced between May and August. Also, this might bump up the album release date guesses. A new song is expected to be released soon, judging from Mike's recent Instagram tease, which could even be the first single from the album.Who is going?
