Unreleased Grey Daze Song: 'Forever'

Recommended Posts

Our resident Grey Daze expert, LESTAT, just released a new live video through the band's official Facebook page. It's from a performance recorded on May 23rd, 1997 at the Electric Ballroom in Tempe, Arizona and features Grey Daze performing a previously unknown and unreleased song titled 'Forever'. This is the only known performance of this song and happened on the same day the band's second studio album, ...No Sun Today, was released. What makes this even more special is the fact that the video features soundboard audio! Check it out here.

Woah. Really cool.

Anyone have the lyrics?

I really like this song a lot. Too hard to make out all the lyrics, IMO. The chorus has a really nice melody.

I love No Sun Today era Grey Daze. I don't even listen to Wake Me, like ever, I find it to be very inferior to No Sun Today. And I like how they re-did a few songs off of Wake Me for No Sun Today. My question is... we have received several videos from a 1997 show now that are proshot, do we have the full show? I hope it will become available someday, a full No Sun Today show in split mp3.

Yeah, those videos are all from the same source listed on the show page:

06. The Down Syndrome

09. Forever

10. Anything, Anything

11. Saturation

Once we'll release everything we have, I'm hoping to host all of the original files on LPLive.
That's three more shows.

This song is really great. Thanks really much for sharing this!

I've tried adding some linees to the already first attempt of finding lyrics by someone on

Linkinpedia:

We are the faces that you see

We are the hatred that you breathe

We are the leaders of the world

It designed your twisted mind

We are the shelter build above

With nothing less and so much more

We are the few that used to live

It designed, ...

I ...

Forever

I ...

Forever

I can't die now

Forever

I am damned now

Forever

We are the prophets ...

We are the voices ...

We are the love that you cannot push aside

Thank you! I can't wait to have a watch.

Is there any chance we could get a download?

Once we'll release everything we have, I'm hoping to host all of the original files on LPLive.

"Forever" lyrics through an 'inside' source:

We are the faces that you've seen

We are the hatred that you bring

We are the leaders of the world

Inside your twisted mind

We are the shelter for the fall

We’re nothing less and so much more

We are the few that used to live

Inside what you disguise

I am here now

Forever

I love you now

Forever

I can die now forever

I am there now forever

*possibly different lyric* We are the promised of the prose

We are the boldest of the bolds

We are the love that you cannot push aside

We never wanted anything

And yet you want to watch us bleed

Yet you will know that we won't let you touch our lives

Touch our lives

I am here now

Forever

I love you now

Forever

I can die now forever

I am dead now forever
