The Julien-K European Tour promoting their new album "We're Here With You" kicks off in London tonight. London will be their first live show with the new drummer Frank Zummo from Street Drums Corps. Most of you remember SDC from Projekt Revolution 2008, where they opened the Main Stage and also joined LP for a few songs during the show. The last Julien-K show was at the Roxy in LA on Jan 21st, when Chester joined them for two songs. It was also Elias's last show with the band for the foreseeable future. The band has played several European tours before, playing London a few times.

If you buy a presale ticket, Julien-K Germany has a contest going that you get a free tour poster you can pick up at the merch booth at any shop if you submit a picture of yourself with a ticket. More details here.

Also we will try to keep you updated with setlists on the tour.

LPL staff member [AndOne] will be going to the Cologne, Hamburg and Berlin shows, hopefully meeting some LPLive and Julien-K friends again, just stop by.

If you have ticket stubs for these shows, take a photo or preferably scan them and please send them to us! And have fun!!

I wonder who'll do backing vocals now Elias is gone? I'm guessing they'll just be using backing tracks though, unless Frank can sing or something.

Ryan replied to a twitter post a while back saying Zummo will do backing vocals.

Seriously guys Julien-K KILLED it last night. Ryan was on top form with Frank doing backing vocals.

I can vaguely remember some of the setlist but it will appear pretty soon:

We're Here With You
Futura
Surrounded By Cowards
Fail With Grace
(Vandal cover)
I'll Try Not To Destroy You
Palm Springs Reset
Kick The Bass
Close Continuance
Breakfast In Berlin
Someday Soon
(Headcleanr Remix)
Maestro
(Koma & Bones Remix)
Cruel Daze of Summer

all these songs were played but not in that exact order.

Will post pics soon.

Thanks for the info Lee! Blame Mark I guess tongue.gif

I think last night I emailed a pic of the cologne setlist to Mark around the same time he posted this haha.

That's a solid set...I would love to see Julien-K live again, but chances of seeing them perform on the east coast are slim to none.
AndOne
We randomly bumped into Amir at the McCafe in Cologne close to the venue. We talked about the album and stuff. The show was really awesome, they played the entire set.

Going to Hamburg tonight.

Can't wait to get back home to my own bed lol.

I could have sworn I saw them make two switches with a black marker on the final list on the stage... maybe I was wrong! Who cares, the gig was awesome LOL!
