At the LPU Summits, Mike and Chester like to play a few songs on acoustic guitar. They've done "The Messenger" a few times, "The Little Things Give You Away" and "Leave Out All The Rest".
At the fourth Summit in Hamburg, they covered Adele's "Rolling In The Deep". Check out the video below!
What do you guys think?

I loved it. It just shows, once again, that Chester can sing everything!

Chester was fantastic!!! Could barely hear Mike though. Clap fail by the crowd too, lol.

Kind of weird to hear, but cool nonetheless. Thanks for sharing.

Yep, more proof that Chester has amazing capabilities in singing and that he can do more than scream, like everyone wants him to do. LOL @ clappers in the audience, though.

For the most part, I love it, but it could use 3 key improvements next time:
1) Chester needs to work on or find a way around the high notes, or change the chorus to "Warbling In the Deep"
2) Mike needs to provide some falsetto backing vocals ("Rolling in the deep!")
3) Our German LPU friends should YouTube "Clapping Synchronization"
Seriously, though, awesome that they did something like this, and Chester nailed it for the most part. I was hoping he would incorporate some of the scream/singing that he does in "The Messenger", but this is overall great and reminds me of when Mike covered "Umbrella" a few years ago.

This isn't a song that just anybody can cover. Chester did a great job. I like that they did this, a nice random acoustic cover for the summit.

A fucking fantastic cover. Well Done Mr. Bennington.
I consider this is a good cover, but in the chorus Chaz not kneading.

this song is really hard to sing! Chester did an awesome job, they just should have transposed it about two notes lower so that he can sing the chorus without problems. great performance nonetheless.

The video is labeled as an LPA exclusive, by the way. Check the title.

Wow he really nailed the versus! Chorus was awesome too but at some points it was getting too high for him, you can hear is voice cracking a bit there haha. Nevertheless awesome cover! Didnt expect this would sound this goood.

That'd be cool if they just randomly stuck this in the setlist somewhere during the live show lol. I'm always up for them switching stuff up. I'm shocked now that Mike hasn't started playing acoustic guitar more live. I think the only time was on TLTGYA, right?

Chester dominated that song, once again proving how amazing he is. There was something unique in his voice, almost like pain. I wish we could hear more of that on an album. The Messenger was close.

A studio version of this cover would be so good! I love Chesters voice in this.

I've said it before and I'll say it again....I'd like the guys to release an LPU album of their favourite songs. Whatever the song is, whether its pop, rock, rap, reggae, blues, country, 60's, 70's, 80's, doesn't matter. They should pick their favourite songs, linkinparkify them and put em on an LPU cd. This Adele song and Wish are perfect examples. Just imagine LP covering something like Dancing on the Ceiling by Lionel Ritchie
It would make a change from the live tracks/demos LPU cd we usually get. Granted, there may be some legal or royalty issues but it would be great if they could do it.
Well that's better than nothing i guess but i still want a proper and cleaner version that i can actually enjoy listening on my music player. That horrible clapping just makes me want scream "SPARTAA!!!" and punch somebody in the face.

I didnīt even know that you guys posted it, so there was no intention to set you up :-/
It was late, i went to bed, slept for 3 hours, went to work, saw that i was asked and labeled it. Shortly after that Mike posted it and later i checked out the youtube infos and saw lplive.net posted it.

I like the LPA, but I do think it was unnecessary to change it after Mike posted it. To both sites, its not a competition.
