I FEEL THE EXACT SAME WAY!

I went from #4 to #42 and nobody has any idea of how many remixes they'll be listening to. I can't compete with the support your regular LP remixers have, and most of the people that know my music are underground hip-hop heads....which isn't LP. It's frustrating...
I almost feel like cheating since it really doesn't mean that I'll win anyway.

Well i relaxed a bit thinking that the contest finishes in July and the album is out September, so surely they will pick a fair few to listen to, i guess they also know that many of the top remixes will have had backing from friends etc etc. I just HOPE that they aren't just gonna pick the top ten and be done with it...

Well considering that your remix is too short and doesn't fit with the requirements set in the rules, I can't see you being in the top 30.

And no one deserves to be in any particular spot, they should have to earn it, and not have it be a popularity contest.

Yeah, that's good. Throw other people's work under a bus - that'll get yours noticed for sure. Just ask DangerSilent how that worked out here for them.

Thing is, I don't think it'll simply come down to the votes. I think many entries will be reviewed, regardless of where they finish in the vote because any vote like this is going to be flawed.

The 4 first places are so the best entries... Not necessarily in the order I think is the best...

Alex, David, zwieR.Z. and Timothy... But David Newton is also very good.

The first places are not directly proportional to the level of music.
I heared a lot of Great Remixes that are out of the First 25 places...

Correct. Some have huge fanbases , some don't .
We can only hope LP listens to more remixes other then the top 10.
(mainly hope this because im somewhere around the 30th xD)

no, but that's why i said they'd have at least various people listen to them to see if they were worth while. I think it's unfair because they did give us the time period. Some people do work harder or take longer and it just makes sense that they should give everyone a chance. The ranking is not always positively correct
