It seems pointless to me. Maybe if they teamed up with Apple instead it would of been a little more worth while. Almost every LP video in the studio they have Macs not Dells lol The only thing that interested me was the library of custom made sounds which hasn't yet to be defined in any more detail yet. Maybe they will be multitracks or samples of the songs? Hopefully it'll be something cool like that. The sounds will have a 99.9% chance of leaking onto the internet (Its the year 2012 people) and that is the only thing I really care about so I can still get them ether way biggrin.gif

Soon as I saw "Dell" I thought:

you'd need to be seriously stupid to get this

Alright, enough of the senseless name calling and mindless damn bickering.

...I haven't seen this much idiocy in such a short period of time since LPU8 came out. I'll save the time and effort and just clarify one major point though: The $299 for the software only applies if you're JUST buying the software. All of the computers in this line come with it pre-installed.

* Hybrid Theory EP: A guy rapping, a guy screaming and a guy with turntables.
* Hybrid Theory: Exactly same as the above but with more tracks.
* Reanimation: Remixes of Hybrid Theory.
* Meteora: Hybrid Theory with a different album cover.
* Live in Texas: Hybrid Theory on a stage.
* Collision Course: Hybrid Theory and some other idiot rapping.
* Minutes to Midnight: Not Hybrid Theory. This album was instantly panned by many people for not being Hybrid Theory.

I need this shit ASAP. Ive been looking for a decent program I could run for this very need. Only thing is I don't really want to buy the software if it doesn't include the samples and shit. I got a feeling the samples and sounds from LPs catalog would only come on the LP designed computers.

actualy i´m pretty sure there will be AT LEAST one hardcore lp fan who is a musican and buys that laptop and shares thoose samples

on the other side i have some money that i could spare for that i mean official loops and stuff are cool but if we would get presets to play them on our own that would be massive IMO

Just spoke with Dell though their online chat thing.

First of all the product is only available to people that live in the States. Seems like another "Hey we got something cool but its for the US only" trick haha.

Second my understanding (and the sales reps) is that the software and presets with all of Linkin Parks shit comes installed with computer and/or with a download link to the stuff. He couldnt answer to much about it because he wasnt to familiar if its already installed within the software or its an add on that comes with the hard drive.

I want these fucking presets and shit tho hahahaha.

I hate companies that do this, why advertise it on the Internet (ie everywhere) if you can only sell it to one damned country? idiots
