QUOTE (Hahninator @ Jan 29 2012, 12:48 PM) *
1: Samples for live show interludes and intros from 2000-2002 live shows that Joe used.
2: Crawling samples and some drum synth stuff.
3: By Myself Chester vocal samples and other samples from that song.
4: Cure For The Itch. Random (unreleased?) samples.
5: Variety of different voice samples.
6: More random samples. I can't pick anything specific out here. Guitar stuff, random humming noise, vocal samples.
7: Papercut live intro sample and a synth track.
8: Sample from the end of the APFMH demos (APFMH/Esaul/etc). Sounds like a siren. A few random ones.
9: Forgotten samples - the live intro "beat" sample that's also in the middle of the song. "Hoo ha" sample too.
10: Samples from Points Of Authority scratches. Has a sampled guitar part from near the end of the track.
11: Very random samples. There's part of the end of Session played at a few times. A few samples that sound like they're likely from unreleased tracks due to how they're played. Maybe some are used randomly in some LP tracks we already know.
12: More random stuff. The girl speech before It's Goin Down' is included. With You/Wth>You screech sample, female "ahhhh" sample and other various stuff. I believe a sample from 'Rock And Roll', the song Chester and Mike joined HBMS for.
13: Random vocal samples. Sounds like the backing track sample from an unreleased song? Who knows. Random as it gets here. I'm sure Mike/Joe had a lot of beats from this time period. Maybe some made it into songs, maybe some didn't.
14: More random vocal samples and random noise samples. One near the beginning sounds like the sample played in Tokyo in 2007 during the barricade break intermission. Another in the middle sounds like that too.
15: "Watch them flee" vocal sample from Dedicated. "Mixed media"/"Step up to the microphone", etc samples from Step Up...mostly every sample in that song is in here. "After years of painstaking research", etc. Everything Step Up-related. Other few random things.
16: Technique vocal sample, KYUR (off Reanimation) sample, beat from the Deftones "Around The Fur" sample on repeat...very interesting.
17: More random samples. Some used in Joe's live interludes from the old days.
18: In The End samples. Intro and the verse stuff, etc.
19: Random samples. I can't identify anything I've heard before in it.
20: More random stuff (surprise!).
21: Scratching stuff by Joe. This sample is on repeat but you can hear it in some oldschool LP tracks, actually a good number of them.

I randomly noticed a few things on my first listen-through.... ::

01/ The 'you cannot f*ck with this' vocal sample is the same sample used on the hook of the Styles Of Beyond track 'You Cannot F*ck With This', off their 2007 official mixtape Razor Tag. 'You Cannot F*ck With This' was produced by Mike Shinoda.

12/ The heavy breathing sample from 0:28 to 0:30 is used in the Styles Of Beyond track 'Dangerous Minds', off their album 2000 Fold.

15/ The beat sample underneath the 'mixed media?' vocal sample is used in the Styles Of Beyond track 'Easy Back It Up', off of their album 2000 Fold. 'Easy Back It Up' was produced by DJ Cheapshot.

19/ The 'run it!' vocal sample at 0:04 was used in the Styles Of Beyond track 'Come Out Your Frame (Interlude)' off of their album 2000 Fold.

16: Technique vocal sample, KYUR (off Reanimation) sample, beat from the Deftones "Around The Fur" sounds like it could have been used for a papercut remix?!
17: "right back where i started" sounds like mike but also sounds like it's from a film.
18: In The End samples. Intro and the verse stuff, etc.
19: stock samples?!
20: sounds like the in pieces sample, but it isnt.
21: noise for the end of the show to walk off?!

Track 11, quotes from American History X (1998) by character "Bob Sweeney"
0:21 "... Mein Kampf psychobabble ..."
0:23 "Your rhetoric and your propaganda aren't gonna save you out there."
(see IMDB)

Only reason I recognized them is because the actor who played Bob Sweeney is Avery Brooks, who also played Benjamin Sisko in Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. His voice is hard to miss.

Thanks for sharing this vinyl rip.

Very nice find, you are right it's Avery Brooks!

Track 12: The female voice on It's Goin' Down (which is in the promo version of the song, not in the final track) is from the movie Game Of Death (1978) with Bruce Lee, see the transcript here. Took me a minute to find out so I guess it's not that new, it was at least to me.

7: Papercut live intro sample and a synth track.

The synth track is taken from Runaway and is a beat.

I think that one is different from the What I've Done 'OW'. The WID one is pitched higher and I think it's a bit longer..

You can hear the siren sample in Slipknot - Me Inside as well.

QUOTE (Dmitry @ Jan 29 2012, 01:43 PM) *

Today we present a unique download - a vinyl Joe created back in the days entitled Mista Hahn's Tasty Gas Station Breaks From The Orient. The vinyl recently appeared on eBay and was bought by LPL member Ivan (aka 'Mohnaryl'), who ripped it in FLAC for us. This is a rerip and upgrades the inferior quality (192kbps mp3) of the previously circulating version on the web.
Enjoy!

I would first like to thank dimitry for sharing this viniyl with us , many thanks ofc the great Lplive for this wonderful share , the track which i had been searching for a very long time is the first track on it Track 1, the sample used by Mista Hahn at Rock am ring 2001pro shot DVD shared by Lplive long back if u have a look init The sample which im talking about right now which appears right after A.Place for my head and starting of Forgotten , a sample with vocals of "Mike" " You cannot f**k with this band" always made me wondered where Hahn picked up these samples biggrin.gif , right now i got it , long back gabo a lp fan told me the similar vocals was used in Styles of Beyond - You Cannot Fuck With This (Ft. This is not Mike. It's from Violent Femmes - Intro of the "Add It Up (1981 - 1993)": http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LFqBer329KE

And yes this sample was used for Styles of Beyond - You Cannot Fuck With This (Ft. Celph Titled). Actually my copy of this vinyl before belonged to DJ Cheapshot.
