Turn your volume up to the max and loop Track 8.

Wow, I literally just saw the old rip on LPA a couple days ago, and along comes this higher-quality rip. This is awesome. Thanks, guys.

How did you know what the track distinctions were, though? Was it listed on the vinyl or something?

Well like, it's not like the vinyl has distinct tracks like a CD would, and the tracks don't really have start or end points from what I can tell, plus the first post mentioned that the original rip had separated the tracks incorrectly, so I was just curious as to how you knew that there were 21 tracks when it's just a collection of samples and beats.

Sometimes the pauses are bit longer, those indicate tracks I guess. For example on the first rip the Crawling stuff was at the end of track 1, it makes much more sense to me to have a seperate track for that for example.

11: Very random samples. There's part of the end of Session played at a few times. A few samples that sound like they're likely from unreleased tracks due to how they're played. Maybe some are used randomly in some LP tracks we already know.

there's a real fast vocal sample that sounds like it's saying "comin' up!" at about 58 seconds in, that can be heard (with a few more effects on it) in the Runaway Remix on Reanimation after the "work it dowwwn"
EDIT: which is co-incidentally on this track -
QUOTE (Hahninator @ Jan 29 2012, 06:48 PM) *
16: Technique vocal sample, KYUR (off Reanimation) sample, beat from the Deftones "Around The Fur" sample on repeat...very interesting.

perhaps the fact they're not on the same "track" (in terms of proximity on the vinyl) means they were used separately until Backyard Bangers put them on RUNW@Y.

in terms of a date for the vinyl, my guess is late '99. the Orlando "you cannot fuck with this band" intro means the vinyl must have been pressed before July '00. even with the It's Goin' Down sample - just because the song came out in 2002, doesn't stop the vinyl from being pressed earlier, Hahn might have just re-discovered the sample and put it in the song. this and the "HT" symbols

If you look closely at the vinyl plate you'll see special narrow tracks that is separators.

The "you can not fuck with this band" sample was also used by Sid Wilson from Slipknot around 2000-2001 at the end of shows. (You can hear here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=playe...8J3Q7e0#t=338s) So maybe some of them are stock samples?

ahh true, could be a couple of royalty free samples kicking about on the vinyl in that case...
nothing wrong with that
EDIT: the "you cannot fuck with this band" sounds like it might come from the intro to "Blister In The Sun" by the Violent Femmes

"The Violent Femmes, they bring all their equipment on the bus. And you
can't **** with the Violent Femmes. You can not **** with this band!"
http://www.lyrics007.com/Violent%20Femmes%...o%20Lyrics.html

"The intro to Blister in the Sun is memorably hilarious. It's spoken by a drunken DJ (or some drunken audience member) before a VF gig - "The Violent Femmes...they bring all their equipment on the bus. And you can't fuck with the Violent Femmes! You cannot fuck with this band!" I don't know. I thought it was funny, that's all."
http://open.salon.com/blog/the_suburban_gu...x_tape_part_two

I've not found the album version so I can't confirm this...

I found the interview here!
"We'll be using sound checks on the headline tour to work out some new and old material to incorporate into the set, songs like My December” and Carousel.

Another interesting quote from this interview:
QUOTE
Shinoda: We're planning to do some cool old songs, some songs that nobody's heard us play live before. We're going to play a couple of songs that aren't on Hybrid Theory — songs that can only be found online. You can find the MP3s if you ask around on the LinkinPark.com chat room or message board. We released 2,000 copies of a five-song demo made back when the band itself was actually named Hybrid Theory.

Is it about the Hybrid Theory EP or have they released another record while they were called Hybrid Theory?
As far as I know, only 1,000 copies of the original Hybrid Theory EP were made.
