Linkin Park confirmed Rock am Ring / Rock im Park 2012 Options

Linkin Park are confirmed for Rock am Ring / Rock im Park 2012 from 1st to 3rd June! They will be playing there along with other bands like Metallica, Machine Head and many others.

Tickets are already for sale for 160€ (RaR) / 155€ (RiP) for the 3 day festival ticket.

Update:

We're excited to hit the road again this summer. Our first announced tour date of 2012 is Rock am Ring in Nürburg, Germany this June. It will be our first time playing the festival in 5 years, and we're glad to be back.

This will be the first time LP takes a day off between the Rock am Ring and Rock im Park shows; usually they are performed on back-to-back days (2001 and 2007, and the canceled 2003 shows).

The fact that they're doing European festivals excites me... if they do Sonisphere UK I may pass out from excitement. Download's already got all it's headliners... it's possible!
