Is this the upcoming Dead By Sunrise show we heard about?

Chester Bennington of Linkin Park will headline the second annual Stars of the Season soiree to benefit Cardon Children's Medical Center on Saturday, Nov. 12, at the Montelucia Resort & Spa in Paradise Valley.

The signature fundraising event for Banner Health's only free-standing pediatric facility has a goal of raising $250,000 in support of Cardon's Pediatric Rehabilitation Center, which provides critically important rehabilitation services for children from newborn to 18 years.

Bennington's wife, Talinda, volunteers there with Bruiser, their dog.

Last year's event raised $170,000 for the medical center's Integrative Pediatric Pain Management Program.

Tickets to this year's cocktails and dinner event are $250 per person; sponsorships range from $5,000-$50,000.

11/5 EDIT: Confirmed that this is the Dead By Sunrise one-off performance.

DBS Facebook Account:

"Great DBS rehearsal last night with @ChesterBe @amirderakh @rynsk & @nofunwithoutfu round 2 today"

From Talinda Bennington's Twitter: "So excited for the annual Stars of the Season Gala! This year we're raising $ for pediatric rehab of all kinds! Now AZ families can go to one place to see their kids dr, and different therapist. And have their other children tended to while the parents are in therapy with their sick child! My job on the council is to secure a musical act so donors come to the event. Last year I got Art Alexakis from Everclear! This year it's my hubby and Dead By Sunrise! Who will I get next year?? I'm calling up my friend Chris Cornell or the Camp Freddy boys!"

Bumping this just to see if there's any additional info yet...Ryan tweeted today that he has rehearsals for both Julien-K and DBS coming up, but has it been determined if this is the DBS appearance? I figured this appearance would have to be cancelled because of Chester's surgery.

maybe he's recovered, if it was minor surgery he'd probably be good to go :)

This pretty much proves my point that LP just didn't want to play DeLuna at all. Why book a show, have tons of fans buy tickets and airfare and everything, then cancel the show for something stupid? Then make videos for breast cancer and play DBS shows after saying he was too injured to play the show?

Big difference (legally speaking) between rehearsals and performing. The insurance company can't really control what Chester does on his own time. If he's under doctor's orders not to perform until, say, October 31st, but the show isn't until mid-November, there's really nothing preventing him from taking part in it. I just assumed that Chester's shoulder surgery would require a long enough recovery that he'd have to cancel this appearance.

I think that's awesome, I hope they play at least 1 new song. It is assumed that they are still working to create more songs for DBS?

FYI, this will be an acoustic show.

Yes!! Hopefully it's not just Let Down!!! We could finally get a better rip of In The Darkness acoustic, as well as WIC, and CBI, too. If they play a full set, or the set used for the Vegas 09 acoustic show. Can't wait.

Given the price of the tickets and the type of event this is, I'll be amazed if we even get a setlist from this show. Chances of a recording are practically zip - there are no clips on Youtube of Art Alexakis' set from last year.
