just saw this link on facebook - Ozzy Osbourne and Linkin Park Fulfill Dying Teen's Final Wish:

http://www.ktla.com/news/landing/ktla-dyin...0,4780061.story

so glad to hear his wish was/will be fulfilled! smile.gif

it says Ozzy called him. AND "Later in the day, KTLA received word that the drummer from Linkin Park went to visit Kyle, and on Wednesday, the lead singer will visit him."

I volunteer for a charity called Make a Wish foundation. Its basically making kids with serious heath issues dreams come true. If some of you have seen my youtube videos or anything you'll notice the stickers on my guitar.

Working for the charity I get to see things like this happen all the time. But sometimes these things are un-reachable due to the fact its hard to get contact with the people needed.

To see that Adam has seen this and taken this straight too his 'boss' is amazing. Its really made my quite to call myself a Linkin Park fan. Why? Because we want this kid to be able to live his dream.

So even tho Im not really involved in this or anything, but I would like to applauded everyone involved here because I know these things aren't easy from personal experience. And Im glad these is a positive outcome.

PS. Thats an awesome vid. Its good to see the guys can do something so little that will make such a big difference.

This story had me in tears. I'm proud of Rob managing to visit this poor kid. Let's hope Ozzy can make it.

I just want to say thank you to everyone who took the time to post about this yesterday. You should all give yourselves a pat on the back.

An even bigger thank you to Adam for taking the story to LP Management. It probably wouldn't have gotten that far without your help.

And thousands of thank you's to LP themselves. This right here makes me so proud to be a Linkin Park fan. You really do care about the people that support you and you give back to the ones that really need it.

I just wish this could ultimately have a happy ending.

I'm so happy that Rob and Chester went to see him... Ozzy called him... Why can't Green Day do a little more than just tweet about him..........?

ah (as mentioned above) all have their own reasons and commitments. LP were fortunate to be there to see em why don't you look in this perspective if LP were not in US and somewhere else or they themselves would not be able to see him? Would you start telling 'LP is this and that could be more human' and all? It was a good, no a very good gesture on the part of LP and Ozzy and everyone appreciates it but that doesn't make Green Day 'bad' even if they don't want to see him (which in this case we don't know anything). Their lives, just something normal.

I started crying watching this, particularly when Kyle waves at Chester.

I have heard from a reliable source that Billie Joe has called Kyle and that Green Day is asking for donations to help Kyle's family
