Live Setlists Options

Some of the fans in Germany and other European countries have voiced their concerns to us regarding LP playing the exact same set three nights in a row. We all unanimously agree that something should be done about this considering ticket prices are higher than they've ever been, but also because of the fact that more and more fans are seeing multiple shows on the same tour. This is arguably one of LP's biggest European tours ever and for them to not rotate their sets, in the minds of some people, is unacceptable.

So we ask that if you agree with this, maybe because it's the 10th anniversary of Hybrid Theory and you'd like to hear more songs from it, or because you just think LP should play more than the singles and new stuff live, or if you just want to hear something different...then we ask that you could either post a comment on Mike's blog, ask the band about it at a M&G, or even tag it on Twitter with the hashtag "LProtatesetlists" or something.

What do you guys think about this? People that have seen the shows or people that are following the tour intensely, or even people that have seen the band many times in one tour - what do you think about this? Should they just rotate next year (with arguably a smaller European tour) or should they try and start now? Is there no excuse for not rotating now and playing different songs live, or is there an excuse?

In my opinion, is unacceptable to not rotate sets.
I think it's disrespectful for the fans and for HT. F***, today is his tenth anniversary for god sake and LP just seems not remember that album. It seems like LP has shame of HT or doesn't like it in my opinion.
I can't believe that in a band with 6 members they all agree with this.
It's disrespectful for the fans that are attending to 3 ou 4 shows hear the same songs.

If I were just like you say I would given up on LP but no.
Actually, this year I´m buying the discrogaphy of band and I've become a LPU member. I have A Thousand Suns too and I like it.
I think ungrateful is LP not play older songs that put them on the top.
I've seen them twice here. Me and I know that very people would be disappointed of spending money in travels to see 3 shows with the same set. Of course the oportunity to see them is FANTASTIC but in 3 nights hear the same songs is kind of disappointing.

Now, try to make a civilized and respectful reply. I always said in my opinion, so I am not obliged to have the same opinion than you and vice-versa.

You need to have better reasons to justify "your opinion" or else it's just a false statement.

there are fans that haven't heard "numb" live even once because of geographic and various other reasons and you guys are complaining about them playing the same ~25 songs in your area... there are more important things to consider. Plus a casual fan would rather hear "in the end" then "with you". it's about making the most people happy, and singles do the job. it's the fact of the business.
