Greetings Linkin Park Live.

While looking through the live guide for a show my friend wanted, I was wondering if it was DSP or not.
My idea was that you could have some sort of symbol next to a show which is available on LinkinPark.com which indicates that it is a DSP, so then it would also lower the amount on DSP's which are requested on the forums...well hopefully.

Just a thought.

I like it! Great suggestion! I suggested when 4.0 was made that a logo was put on the right near the letters indicating setlist, ticket stubs, pictures, etc but I don't think everyone else was on board with it. Let me see if we can maybe change the letters to pictures, and that'd make it easier for us to add a new one in my opinion (and make it less confusing). Thanks!

4.1 is coming soon - going through design tests, etc with staff now. Wiki is included in it. Vbulletin too.

A wiki and Vbulletin? ohmy.gif Should be cool, can't wait!

And this is a good idea, I like it... A quick reference to which shows have a DSP, especially moving forward into the ATS touring.

I am glad you like it Hahninator. If the idea goes through, it will be great to see one of my own ideas on the site.

Everything suggested is a great idea. The DSP idea is good, but keep it to the left of the dates, anything on the right will be ugly since the site is so wide.

vBulletin is a failure. Just upgrade to the latest IPB.

Glad you like the idea too Seth, but why isn't vBulletin as good as IPB this time around?

Instead of making a new thread, I thought there could be a small news slider, so that people don't miss the bigger headlines. Sometimes a big announcement can be pushed down the page by other not as important posts and so they could miss it.

Once vBulletin was bought out by IB it has gone downhill bigtime. If you want to go vB, I would stay with the Jelsoft version of the latest 3.8.X, but the IB version of 4.0.x or anything higher, if they have any, is horrible as shit.

IPB is currently running the forum industry. I highly recommend just upgrading this forum. No need to worry about losing any information either, since its a simple software upgrade instead of a complete database transfer.

I see. It apparently is also easier to work with themes.
IPB is awesome though, it was so easy when we were working on the Red Music Live forums. I was planning on buying some vB forums, but now I think I should go with IPB.
