Hello.
I thought of this, not sure about it but I thought I would share it with you all anyway. You could add a small music player to the sidebar of the main homepage of the site. This would be the LPL Radio. Each week you upload a new song to that music player (when you add the new song, you remove the previous one) which would be known as song of the week. The song would be chosen by staff of course and a new song would be uploaded every lets say Monday. You would also make sure the music isn't downloadable on the player. -------------------- |

There is an extremely popular radio service out there known as shoutcast. With that, you can make this radio idea happen. You don't host files. It plays right out of your itunes, or winamp. I've used it before. You can even "DJ" of sorts, by adding in your voice via mic live. Good use if you are having problems with the whole space and bandwidth thing. However, I still wouldn't recommend official material on this. Hey what about an internet radio. I used to be a DJ on a radio site. Its basically like an radio channel you listen to in your car expect online. Users tune it, request songs, dj talks gives out quizes, prizes the whole ordeal. It would be pretty cool and I'd put my hand up for Djing.

Had the same idea for years but then, what are you going to stream if you can't stream official music?
