I thought I'd put this in here..

The Lotus leaf symbol featured on many Fort Minor and some Linkin Park CDs, is the Shinoda kamon (Family Crest).

(I can't really confirm that, apart from this picture)

I think we need to ask mike just to confirm on this one. Mainly because ive seen the symbol on a the back of a Resturant. I knew i had saw the the symbol somewhere, and it was bugging me for a week or two, and then i went to the city a month or two later, and saw it on the wall of some Sushi or japanese food take away type place. I took a picture smile.gif. so, it may just be a random japanese symbol. Id be really happy it were the Shinoda crest, since I think i may be the first or one of the first to figure that out tongue.gif

That's exactly what it is. There was a lengthy discussion on this back on the old Fort Minor messageboards, it all started when someone noticed that the symbol was also part of the Reanimation cover art and not just something found on FM-related material.

' “QWERTY” was the first Linkin Park song (and only to date) to premiere live without being recorded beforehand. It was first played in 2006 in Japan and then recorded for inclusion on the LPU 6 CD. '

LIES
The Morning After 2001 was, it was not recorded prior to the playing and it was considered a Linkin Park song until it was remixed by Julien-K for Underworld: Evolution.
If this happens to be true then Let Down 2004 would also then be second I guess?
However QWERTY was not rehearsed or recorded by the band before it's premiere I think that's what it states in the LPTV episode.
I don't know if thats all of them :x but those are the ones I can think of from the top of my head.
I'm also a dumbass so I could be wrong.

I think (well to my knowledge) it was always a Chester song. Just idiots oftern miss named it as a LP song. I dont think It was performed apart of any LP sets so I dont know where people got the link if it was only Chester doing it solo.

Crappy song.

Basil Poledouris?

World-renowned composer who did the scores for movies like Conan the Barbarian, RoboCop, and Free Willy.

Nope, did a bit of digging - it's a track from the film score for No Man's Land, which came out in 1987. Largely forgotten film starring Charlie Sheen and Randy Quaid, judging from the descriptions of it, it sounds like a "classier" version of Gone in 60 Seconds (or any other action film about stealing cars, really).

I thought they played The Morning After in Germany in 2001 on one of their sets, I know it was Chester's song but look at the Messenger, it's considered a Linkin Park song. (I know that The Morning After wasn't on an album but still)
Idk I guess xD

The first song from LP Underground 11 "YO" was used a couple years ago on a website Linkin Park did with Monster as a ringtone, but shorter and bad quality
