The Demo "Halo" could have very well been intended for the Halo 2 Soundtrack which included Hoobastank, Breaking Benjamin, and Incubus.

Sorry for the double post, but found a new one:
The vocal sample from the beginning of Joe's DJ solo on the Projekt Revolution 2002 tour ("We don't wanna be left behind/all we want to do is just blow your mind") comes from the song "Back Up Off Me!" by Dr. Dre and Ed Lover (feat. T-Money) - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dxmivVJXbO0 (at the 2:24 mark) -------------------- QUOTE * Hybrid Theory EP: A guy rapping, a guy screaming and a guy with turntables. * Hybrid Theory: Exactly same as the above but with more tracks. * Reanimation: Remixes of Hybrid Theory. * Meteora: Hybrid Theory with a different album cover. * Live in Texas: Hybrid Theory on a stage. * Collision Course: Hybrid Theory and some other idiot rapping. * Minutes to Midnight: Not Hybrid Theory. in case someone hasn't already updated this one -
1. the chorus for "Crawling" was based on the melody in the outro to the song "Blue", written in 1998. and 2. "The Requiem" was built out of samples and sounds from the rest of songs on the album (source: breakfast w/Kevin and Bean interview) This post has been edited by LGraham: Mar 31 2012, 01:01 PM -------------------- @140noise: fresh alternative music reviewed in 140 characters (or less)est. 2012 |

"Powerless" was originally a demo from an older album cycle, but they couldn't get it the way wanted, but with LIVING THINGS they finished it. there are alot of Demos that are similar. i think some more concrete 'cool-fact-ness' would be required -------------------- @140noise: fresh alternative music reviewed in 140 characters (or less)est. 2012 |

103. Warner Bros Records (the band's record label) actually rejected the band THREE times before signing them! Did you know that after Linkin Park was Hybrid Theory and Xero and before Linkin Park they were called Lincoln Park was a very short period of time, but when the band found out the domain " lincolnpark.com" was taken, they decided to go with Linkin Park?
