The Demo "Halo" could have very well been intended for the Halo 2 Soundtrack which included Hoobastank, Breaking Benjamin, and Incubus.

"Halo" was recorded over 2 years before that soundtrack came out...

Sorry for the double post, but found a new one:

The vocal sample from the beginning of Joe's DJ solo on the Projekt Revolution 2002 tour ("We don't wanna be left behind/all we want to do is just blow your mind") comes from the song "Back Up Off Me!" by Dr. Dre and Ed Lover (feat. T-Money) - http://www.youtube.c...h?v=dxmivVJXbO0 (at the 2:24 mark)

in case someone hasn't already updated this one - 1. the chorus for "Crawling" was based on the melody in the outro to the song "Blue", written in 1998. and 2. "The Requiem" was built out of samples and sounds from the rest of songs on the album (source: breakfast w/Kevin and Bean interview)

U should change it :) 45. The band has only played one show in Mexico (2002) and one show in South America (Brazil in 2004) ever.
So I let go watching you
Turn your back like you always do
Face away and pretend that I'm not
But i'll be here
'Cause you're all that I've got

"Powerless" was originally a demo from an older album cycle, but they couldn't get it the way wanted, but with LIVING THINGS they finished it.

there are alot of Demos that are similar. i think some more concrete 'cool-fact-ness' would be required

  • Warner rejected Linkin Park three times before finally signing them.
  • Linkin Park gots its name from an area Chester used to drive by after rehearsals, called Lincoln Park in Santa Monica, CA. It grabbed his attention and when he told the band members about it they all liked how it sounded. They changed it from "Lincoln" to "Linkin" to save money.
  • Before Linkin Park, Chester was in a band called Gray Daze

103. Warner Bros Records (the band's record label) actually rejected the band THREE times before signing them!

Did you know that after Linkin Park was Hybrid Theory and Xero and before Linkin Park they were called Lincoln Park was a very short period of time, but when the band found out the domain " lincolnpark.com" was taken, they decided to go with Linkin Park?

Help yourself! And come up with some new ones from 2010+ (aka living things, etc) if you want...always needing more!
Carnivores Tour 2014:
West Palm Beach, Tampa, Charlotte, Bristow, Camden, Mansfield, Holmdel, Wantagh, Darien Center

people chanted for BIO non-stop throughout the ENTIRE encore break,
sat through CFTI and QWERTY like "WTF is this shit"

  • Meteora got its name from the names of monasteries in Greece.
  • Linkin Park collaborated with Jay-Z at the request of MTV
  • Chester is often reluctant to play "Breaking the Habit" because of how closely it relates to his childhood.
  • The band's favorite track from Minutes to Midnight is "The Little Things Give You Away"
  • "Session" was featured in the movie Matrix
  • The name of the girl in the music video for "Crawling" is Katelyn Rosaasen
  • Chester has a carrying-case cargo holder for his wardrobe because he has shoes that go with every outfit and his shoes and pants must match his socks.
  • (This one is a bit random) Chester says that the band has fun by "Making fun of Mike's head"
  • Brad and Mike both graduated from Agoura High School in 1996.
  • The band chose "Linkin Park" as the alternate spelling of "Lincoln Park" so they would be next to Limp Bizkit in record stores.
  • On January 9, 2010, Linkin Park released a song called "Not Alone" Music for Relief in support of the Haiti earthquake disaster

I'm pretty sure this isn't true since Mike posted on his blog once that they changed the spelling because LincolnPark.com was taken
