Inky very likely to upstage LP here - they bring an epic live show. LP's stuff I saw on 2011 with all the malfunctions, interludes and weird production is likely to get raped if they don't change anything up big time lol. Pop/electronica ain't gonna cut it for Incubus fans. Gonna be a great tour though.

They could have easily started playing 2-hour shows during the ATS headlining tour but they never did it. It's probably partially because Incubus have a very extensive back catalogue to play from, and partially because they remain a big live draw in their own right whereas MCR have suffered a major popularity decline over the last few years.

I never understood why LP doesn't play longer shows. They are a pretty popular band so why not play longer? Don't think the venues are strict about timing. Just look at the Foo Fighters, they play nearly 3 hours every night.

Foo Fighters/Green Day etc. bands that play these real long sets each night are entirely different to LP. relative popularity has nothing to do with set duration, it's dependant upon each individual band. LP choose not to play these long sets. And quite frankly, I don't think they could pull that off - their stage presence isn't massive, they play the songs and don't make a much of an effort to interact with the audience and put on a show per se. I am surprised they aren't playing at any of the Long Island, NY venues like Jones Beach.
