We're excited to hit the road again this summer. Our first announced tour date of 2012 is Rock am Ring in Nürburg, Germany this June. It will be our first time playing the festival in 5 years, and we're glad to be back. Keep checking LinkinPark.com for more announcements. I am not ruling out an album prior to this show, but I find to it to be unlikely.
I'm thinking it could be something more along the lines of a pre-album tour, or a studio break tour. -------------------- |

They have been in the studio between the EU and AU tour, US and Asia tour.. and since the end of that they have been working on it. I can imagine they may have it finished by June. I think the only way he can tell is when they announce more dates.. if any are around march or may, it must be a break, and if its after.. the album is probably done. --------------------  Buying Rare/Pre-Linkin Park items |

My theory is either that this is simply an Escape the Studio tour, or that the band are finishing the album in time for the tour, ready for a winter release after a few finishing touches. There is a gap between a band finishing an album and the record company releasing it- sometimes even a gap of 6 or more months.

For me really interesting are the names of new songs, ATS names were weird first for me
 I remember the period when MTM was going to be released I tried to think what names the songs would have, because the pause between last album Meteora was so long)) The names was amazing enough. In ATS we got song with tytle "Blackout" which many many bands have and others interesting names.Guys, what thoughts do you have on that theme? I don't want a self titled album...at least not right now. This is LP's 5th proper album. I'd like to see a self titled album maybe for their 10th album, if they ever get that far.
