  1. My grandpa died on July 8 and I had just about stopped being consistently sad and then Chester died. Now I'm feeling real sad about Chester and my grandpa again. I've listened to "One More Light" a l lot, as well as Nobody Can Save Me and Leave out All The Rest. They are painful to listen to, but at the same time, it's helping with the healing process. Chester was my favorite singer. He was such an inspiration. I hope his family and band mates will make it through this. I hope all of you can too.
  2. I have been following this band for 12 years, since I was 12 years old. Their music has provided me with so much joy and comfort in hard times. Chester's phenomenal performance on the song "One More Light" came out at the perfect moment. 5 days after the album came out, I found out that my grandpa had only a few months to live, and unfortunately, he passed away on July 8. I balled like a baby to the song. I want to thank Chester for all the good times and comfort during hard times. I saw Linkin Park only once. I lived in Mississippi, so all their shows were always hours away. My friends and I drove 10 hours to Tampa, FL to see them during The Hunting Party tour cycle and the show was everything I had ever hoped it would be. I wish the family, band, and all of the fans my best.
  3. I saw the band live for the first time in Tampa during the Carnivores Tour, so I was pretty happy with the set list aside from the shortened songs; however, hopefully when I see the band live again, I do want more variety with the set list. I feel bad for all of you have seen very similar sets time and time again. I think the only singles the band "has" to play live is OSC, ITE, Faint, Numb, What I've Done, and Bleed It Out. I think maybe they could get away with rotating New Divide and Burn It Down. I really hope they bring back songs such as NMS, TLTGYA, WTCFM, In Pieces, By Myself. I don't know how likely it is. Then again, Slipknot has premiered songs from their second album that have never been played before during this touring cycle. I'm sure no one ever expected that either.
  4. I'm glad that they are taking their time on this record. Also, I'm happy that in his letter to the band he said he wanted to continue with live instruments and experiment. I have always been a fan of hard rock, and enjoyed The Hunting Party (even though it hasn't aged as well as other albums) but I'm glad they are in a very creative mindset and want to experiment again.
  5. Interesting! The whole show or just a song or two you think?
  6. It would be crazy if they played The Hunting Party in full and had all the features from the album; however, that's most likely not the case. I could see it being Aoki and Daron though since these two have actually performed with the band before.

  10. What was up with his tweet saying "remember. 307. Don't tell anyone. LPU..." I know he said don't say anything but can anyone that was in the chat explain. He posted it 20 minutes ago.
  11. I think it's pretty cool how they are playing some of the rock festivals here in the U.S. It's kind of a change up to have them playing U.S. festivals that time of year instead of European ones. I know they played them last year, but still. This is their first year doing these kind of festivals in the U.S. if I'm not mistaken.
  12. This would be good in terms of there being a "make up" tour for the cancellation of the Winter tour. I just looked at Mayhem's website and there were 28 dates from last year's tour This would make up the 16 dates that were cancelled plus 12 extra. I would find it a little weird with LP playing since this tour has leaned towards artists such as Avenged Sevenfold, Korn, Five Finger Death Punch, Marilyn Manson, Killswitch Engage, etc. However something like this would fit in with the whole "aggressiveness/heaviness" of this album cycle.
