Linkin Park has been confirmed to be present by one of the first perfomance of the show that will be in Madrid and is also nominated for two categories.
"We announce out First Two Performers: Katy Perry & Linkin Park We’ve just announced that two previous EMA winners are confirmed to perform at this year’s EMAs. That’s right, pop superstar Katy Perry and rock gods Linkin Park will be taking the stage at the Caja Magica on 7th November, 2010! It’s bound to be a good night for Katy Perry as she also ties with Lady Gaga for most nominations with an astounding five nods apiece. The two ladies will go head to head in four of the five categories they’re nominated in (Best Pop, Best Female, Best Song and Best Video). Meanwhile, performers Linkin Park have a chance to add to their trophy cases themselves as they are nominated in the Best Rock and Best Live Act categories."
