  1. When HT and Meteroa came out I was a huuuge fan. So I voted for those, but to be honest I feel like I connect more with A Thousand Sun now then I do the older albums. Maybe maturity...I don't know...I do know Minutes To Midnight is my least favorite period...
  2. I don't know where your at but Staind gets a ton of radio play here. Also I wouldn't consider them nu-metal after "Break The Cycle" although I haven't heard the new album. As for above guy, Papa Roach had like one or two nu-metal albums, so they aren't a good argument and went away from nu-metal along time ago. I thought Trapt moved away from nu-metal after there horrible album that had "Stand Up" on it. Last I heard they were making less than mediocre hard rock/post-grunge. Hollywood Undead? I thought they were a one hit wonder (if that)...although Danny Lohner did some work with them recently I still wouldn't give them a listen. I'd say nu-metal bands that retained their commercial success was Korn, Staind, Disturbed, and Evanescence. Although almost everyone who was around for HT and Meteroa remember Linkin Park (for better or worse).
  3. supply and demand is probably the price....its not like they printed 999999999999999999 hybrid theory t shirts obviously the goal is to sell the small quantity for the most money
  4. Chester killed them screams on From The Inside....but he singing was very meh... I am gonna have to watch more from the show I always felt he struggled with From The Inside and Somewhere I Belong in the past. Either way they put on such a good show if your there it probably doesn't matter lol
  5. If your tech can't play your songs after hearing them that much he shouldn't be a tech. Most techs are very good musicians and can play by ear anyway, and LPs stuff doesn't take long to learn by ear.
  6. That's a great video haha...I actually used it for reference on what better not happen when my band first got going lol or the frat party clip where they show somewhere i belong demo
  7. The Pushing Me Away from Reanimation for someone reason has always done something for me instrumentally, while at the same time being pretty simple.
  8. The truth is ATS is nothing ground breaking at all, it is very easy to find similar songs, not that its bad at all. BUT I can't name anyone who has gone from a Hybrid Theory sound to A Thousand Suns sound and been successful. I think that is the biggest accomplishment of A Thousand Suns.
