Linkin Park will perform at the MTV Video Music Awards in Japan on June 23, 2012. The show will be held at the Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Japan. This is the venue where the band played two shows during last year and held an LPU Summit.

FYI, this is a completely separate event from the "regular" MTV VMAs (which are taking place on September 9th in Los Angeles). The way the first post is worded is kind of misleading.

Yep, just changed that. Well the venue is probably best known for their Live Earth performance.
